Loaner Program

The purpose of our loaner program is to provide the best possible fit for your new prescription sunglasses.  Each frame sits slightly different on an individual's face.   Segment height is an important measurement when ordering progressive sunglasses. It is the Distance from the lowest part of the lens to the height of your pupil. It is specific for each person and each frame. It is needed and used as a baseline for manufacturing – It’s where your far vision will begin to transition to intermediate and near vision. 

We recommend that you take your loaner to an optician for Segment Height Measurements. You can use our Selfie Instructions with your frame of choice to get your measurements and if you don't specify a segment height or use the selfie program, we can have your lenses made with historical averages for that frame. 

It is always preferred and recommended to use the actual frame style to determine the segment height.

Program details:

• Purchase your Prescription sunglasses and purchase the loaner program option ($21.99)
• We send a loaner pair of the selected style glasses in the mail
• Use the loaner sunglasses during an examination with your eye care provider to get the segment height measurement.  As an alternative, you can follow the selfie directions under “Prescription-->Selfie”.
• Then return the sunglasses to us. 
• Once received, we place your prescription order and send your customized prescription sunglasses to you via priority mail.
• If the loaner sunglasses don't fit properly, you can return them for a different pair if needed. Additional shipping costs will apply.

Program Requirements:

• Must Purchase Prescription Glasses before or with the loaner program
• Sunglasses are for fitting purposes only
• Must be returned in original packaging and Original condition (new)
• Must be returned within 21 days of receiving glasses (can coordinate otherwise)
• Damaged, worn, or missing pieces can result in being charged for all or part of the loaner sunglasses
